Youth (Ages 14-18)
High schoolers will discover a space intentionally crafted for them—a vibrant environment that celebrates their unique voice, energy, and role in both the church and the wider world. This isn’t just an event; it’s a community where teens can feel seen, heard, and valued. Through a dynamic mix of engaging activities, thought-provoking discussions, and creative expressions of faith, participants will explore what it means to live with hope and courage in today’s world.
They’ll share experiences with Christian peers from across Canada, building friendships that stretch beyond geographic boundaries and denominational lines. From interactive workshops and inspiring worship to recreational fun and moments of quiet reflection, every element is designed to nurture growth and connection. High school youth will have opportunities to learn deeply, reflect honestly, connect authentically, and yes—play joyfully. This is a space where questions are welcomed, stories are shared, and faith is (em)braced in the context of community.
Young Adults (Ages 19-25)
A space to be fully yourself. Young adults will step into an environment that honours their individuality and celebrates their potential. This is more than a gathering—it’s a transformative experience where participants can explore the current societal context, wrestle with big ideas, and discover what bold leadership looks like in both the church and the world. Through deep discussions, interactive workshops, and opportunities for spiritual growth, young adults will be equipped and empowered to (em)brace for impact with confidence and creativity.
But it’s not all work and no play. Alongside learning, reflection and meaningful conversations, there’s plenty of time to rest and recharge, enjoy recreational activities, and simply have fun. Whether it’s sharing stories over a meal, laughing during a game, or finding quiet moments of reflection, this space is designed for balance—where faith and friendship flourish together. Participants will build lasting connections with peers from across Canada, forming a network of support and inspiration that extends far beyond the event itself.
This is a place where questions are welcomed, ideas are challenged, and community is (em)braced. For young adults seeking purpose, community, and joy, this is the event that says: You belong. You matter. You are ready to serve.
Youth Leaders (Ages 18+)
This dedicated stream equips youth leaders—whether clergy or lay, paid or volunteer, full-time or part-time—who are passionate about guiding young people in faith and life. It’s a space for learning, renewal, and practical experience. Leaders will grow through a combination of discipleship group sessions featuring inspiring speakers and hands-on leadership opportunities that put theory into practice.
Participants won’t just listen—they’ll lead. As youth residence floor leaders, they’ll help create a welcoming environment for participants, offering care and connection throughout the event. They’ll support recreation activities, foster community through being a supportive presence, and learn in real time as they engage with youth and young adults. These experiences, combined with keynotes, discipleship groups, and peer-to-peer conversations, provide a holistic approach to leadership development.
This stream is about more than gaining tools—it’s about building confidence, deepening faith, and forming a supportive network of leaders who share the same calling. Through shared stories, collaborative problem-solving, and practical ministry experiences, leaders will leave equipped to serve boldly and (em)brace for impact in their communities.

Some enjoy spending their Open Space downtime in quiet reflection. Some lead with humour and silliness, others lead with a quieter energy. Some sing, some dance, some craft, some read.
